Digication: Guide for STUDENTS

Using Digication for the First Time

NOTE: If your first use of Digication is through a Collab course site, a Digication account will be created for you automatically when you log into the course site and click on the Digication link. The link name by default is "Digication ePortfolio", but your instructor may have changed it, in which case they can tell you the new name.

If you are using Digication for the first time but are not in a Collab course site that is using Digication you can get an account by joining a public site on Collab:  

  • Go to Collab (https://collab.its.virginia.edu/portal/site/!gateway)
  • Click on "Public Sites" (1)
  • In the "Search for:" field, type "000-Digication Setup" (without the quotes) (2)
  • Click on the blue "Search for Sites" button (2)
  • Click on the "Join Now" link for "000-Digication Setup" (3)
  • Log in with Netbadge (4)
  • Once in the Collab tab for 000-Digication Setup, click on the "Digication ePortfolio" tool on the left hand side to create your account (5)
  • Click on the blue "Launch Digication" button and follow the instructions (6)
