Robots Nao!

Spring 2018 

This is a lab-based course for students to gain familiarity with humanoid robots and to learn about the field of “Human Robot Interaction”.    Introductory labs enable students to learn how the Nao robot perceives the world and expresses itself, while learning how to evaluate interactions between a human and a robot.   Students will develop an interactive game with human and robot participants and will use the game to develop technical competence in humanoid robotics while at the same time investigate issues in human-robot interaction.  We hope to develop projects that can help humans understand more about themselves through interactions with robots.
