“This content is pulled in from a Wiki page. The content of the Wiki page in question must be assessed by the relevant content person and finalized. These words are here to alert everyone to the fact that this has not been done in this case. Keep in mind that the “spotlight” or other type of box on a portal page will only pull in a set number of characters for display within the box. Thus you are advised to check the actual display and make sure it is doing what you want after you update this wiki page. Some boxes will display the initial content and then have a “read more” link which will open up the entire Wiki page in question. Other boxes will show all of the content from the corresponding Wiki page – which must be kept under 250 characters which is all that can fix in a box - and then have a link called “Explore” which goes not to the Wiki page but instead to the resource which is being described. DELETE THOSE WORDS ONLY WHEN YOU HAVE COMPLETELY UPDATED THIS PAGE”
The MMS will have a standard function to provide at midnight a new video chosen at random from a specified collection, which is then delivered into this box along with its caption, date, place, subject(s), and videographer. One should be able to click on it and see it take over the whole page, including whatever image controls we have for manipulating it, as well as the means to click on the place, subjects, or photographer to see other images for those categories.
