How to Participate in the THL Tibetan Dictionaries Project

Thank you for your interest in contributing to the THL Tibetan Dictionaries project. Contributions to the history and meaning of any Tibetan word are solicited - literary or spoken, modern or historical, and in any language. These can take several forms, including things that can be produced by people who don't even know the Tibetan language:

• Definitions, etymologies, and so forth
• Passages from literature or transcripts of speech that exemplify specific meanings of a term
• Whole scale glossaries or dictionaries that you would like to contribute as such
• Audio-recordings of terms and sample sentences, including as they vary across different dialects
• Photos or short video recordings that precisely illustrate specific terms that could benefit from illustration
