THL Wylie Transliteration

The THL Extended Wylie Transliteration System (EWTS) is a system for transliterating Tibetan into Latin script developed by a group of collaborators brought together by THL. It expands the system first propounded by Turrell Wylie to comprehensively and unambiguously cover all the occurring combinations found in Tibetan script. We also provide an online converter.
