How to Participate in the Tibetan Geotourism Portal Project

Tibetan Geotourism Portal is a community effort equally driven by local communities, academics, students, NGO workers, tourists, photographers, and anyone else interested and able to contribute responsible and useful information or multimedia documentation on Tibetan places and culture. The only way such an initiative can thrive is by offering facilities to reuse resources and information already being generated by a wide variety of people and projects. We thus welcome you to contact us with any contribution at all - images, video recordings, sketched maps, descriptions of a village or hotel, and much more.

Use the "Contact THL" link at the bottom of this page to let us know of your interests in participating. Much of the work can be done online with login accounts we provide. Due to political sensitivities, spammers, and the profusion of unuseful information, we require you contact us to get login accounts rather than providing immediate public access.
