Responsibilities: The THL Editorial Board for Tibetan and Himalayan Collections is responsible for developing and overseeing the creation of collections in all forms of media and intellectual disciplines. The Board also decides on the administrative boards for such individual components. In addition, it acts as gatekeeper in considering new project proposals, monitoring current projects, and supervising the process of peer review for completed projects to be collected permanently within THL. When an individual component grows large and stable enough, it should develop its own separate administrative structure for direct supervision, although the Collections Editorial Board will continue to oversee general issues related to its overall function within THL.
