THL Environmental And Cultural Geography Editorial Board

Responsibilities: The THL Editorial Board for Tibetan and Himalayan Environmental and Cultural Geography is responsible for developing and overseeing the creation of place-related information of all kinds, both in terms of the design of the relevant repositories/presentation and the actual content. In addition, the editorial board acts as gatekeeper in considering new project proposals, monitoring current projects, and supervising the process of peer review for completed projects to be collected permanently within THL. When individual components grow large and robust enough, they should develop their own separate administrative structure for direct supervision of the component, though the Collections Editorial Board continues to oversee general issues related to its function within THL overall. The Board also decides on those administrative boards for individual components.
