This assignment involves doing a biography of a Tibetan figure from our time period. See Biographical Entry Manual for guidelines. Fill out the structured template, but then also do a analysis of his/her life and its significance.
It is important to include a substantial biographical summary, not just the details about death date, etc. The summary should start with an intelligent summary of the life, which itself is a challenge – to express the essentials in a fluent fashion. Then it should present some analytical, interpretative issues that relate to our time period, and are intrinsically interesting. What does his her life exemplify, or express, in terms of larger issues of our time period?
