ACIP Transliteration of Tibetan

The ACIP Transliteration scheme was developed by the Asian Classics Input Project in order to facilitate its input project of Tibetan scriptures based in Tibetan monasteries in India. Its use, however has been limited to that project and is not used otherwise. The actual scheme is loosely based on Wylie, but with considerable differences.
