Description

The Yagpo! Tibetan font allows the Wylie or ACIP transliteration of Tibetan to be displayed in Tibetan script for Adobe programs, such as Photoshop and Illustrator. It does so by mapping the Unicode for the Latin characters to Tibetan glyphs and utilizing Adobe’s implementation of OpenType substitutions. Because the Tibetan glyphs are not mapped to the Tibetan Unicode character code points, it is not strictly speaking a Unicode font. However, it does allow the user to display (in Adobe programs) transliteration in Tibetan characters, allowing the transliteration to be displayed by switching the font to a standard Latin Unicode font.
