(3.2.2) Commentaries on the Intention of the Collection of Scriptures (sūtrapiṭika) That Primarily Teach Training in the Supreme Mind (d.4128 - d.4132; 5 texts)

by Kurtis Schaeffer (University of Virginia, 2009)

This section is a continuation of the previous section on Metaphysics (ཆོས་མངོན་པ་, chos mngon pa, abhidharma). It begins with the popular work of verse known as the Udānavarga in Sanskrit, or in a variant form under its better-known Pāli title, the Dhammapāda, along with a commentary (D.4128-D.4129). Several works of verse (D.4130-D.4132), one by Vasubandhu, bring the Abhidharma section to a close.
