This is the major Language Arts (སྒྲ་རིག་, sgra rig) section of the Degé Tengyur, containing thirty-six titles in four volumes. These are roughly organized by topic, then by translator, and lastly by author chronology. There are a number of interesting works translated, or perhaps composed or at least redacted, during the eighteenth century.
Literature: Extensive descriptions of the majority of these works may be found in Pieter C. Verhagen, A History of Sanskrit Grammatical Literature in Tibet (Leiden: E. J. Brill, 1994).
