(5) Part Five: Treatises on Dedications, Aspirational Prayers, and Generating Auspiciousness (d.4405 - d.4449; 45 texts)

By Kurtis Schaeffer (University of Virginia, 2009)

The fifth and final section of Zhuchen’s catalog of the Degé Tengyur contains small collections of aspiration prayers (D.4405-D.4425) and dedicatory verses (D.4426-D.4448) from a variety of translators. Following these, the Tengyur contains one concluding prayer by Zhuchen himself (D.4449).

Note that this section marks the formal close of Zhuchen’s catalog. The physical Degé Tengyur contains a further section of texts (D.4450-D.4495), but these do not appear in Zhuchen’s catalog.
