Weights & Measures

As in China, Tibet uses the metric system. The traditional Tibetan system of weights and measures is sometimes used.

Metric - Chinese Measures:

• 1 kg = 2 jin
• 1 m = 3 chi
• 100 m² = 15 mu
• 1 L = 1 sheng
