Publishing Sakai Pages for Public Access

Overview

Contributor(s): THDL Staff

At present, you can get URLs for Resources and WIKI pages, and then make them publicaly viewable so that anyone can see them without an account.

At present, Announcements and Schedule have no public access, but we hope in the future such functionality will be added.

WIKI Publication

Under Info for a particular Wiki page, scroll down and make sure the option to make the page Public | Read is checked. If not, check and click the Save button just under this section. Scroll down a bit further to find the link that says "Public View". Click on it and it will open up a new Web page that is the public URL. Copy this public URL for the page that you can share with others who are not members of your worksite. This must be done for each page you want to be viewable by those who are not members of your collaboration worksite. Only those pages that have been configured this way will be viewable by non-worksite folks.
