Text Markup - Notes

You can override the automatic numbering for notes using the rend attribute of the note tag. To override the numbering of a note in the middle of an essay and have it numbered as "1" you would use:

<note rend="1">…</note>

Each subsequent note must be also hand-numbered as well because the automatic numbering will no longer work for the rest of the document.
