 Digication: Quikck-Start Guide for INSTRUCTORS

Configuring Digication

Before you and your students can use Digication in your Collab course site, you have to configure the Digication settings.  In most cases, this will have already been done for you when you requested Digication to be added to your Collab site.  If not, however, you may either contact eportfolios@virginia.edu or follow these steps:

1. Log into your Collab course site and click on the “Digication ePortfolio” tool in the men bar.
2. Click on the blue “Launch Digication ePortfolio” button.
3. On the “Welcome to Digication” page, scroll down and click on the blue “Define Templates for Students” button.
4. Scroll to the top of the screen and click on the "Connect to Course in Digication" link.
5. In the dialog box, click on the blue “Create New Digication Course” button. 
   Note: Ignore everything below the blue button!
6. That’s it!  You have configured Digication to work in your Collab course site.
